On June 9th, 2016 our dear teammate, player and friend, Sofia Vasquez (#35), was killed unexpectedly in a car crash that morning. Sofie was full of energy and enthusiasm for life. Her love of basketball was evident in the way she played and she was fiercely competitive - with a smile. We all miss Sof deeply and we all have lasting memories with her because she took the time to know each one of us. A viewing will be held in Sofie's honor on Thursday, June 16th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and again on Friday, June 17th, from 10:00am to 11:30am. Following the Friday viewing, the funeral will be held at 12:00pm. All services will be held at the Fruit Heights Stake Center on 170 N. Mountain Road in Fruit Heights, Utah.
